Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island choose candidates.
This week, four provinces conducted immigration draws for candidates through their Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP).
The majority of candidates were invited through economic immigration streams, which considered factors such as professional experience, current employment, education, and other work-related criteria.
Provincial Immigration Results (November 21-29)
Alberta
On November 21, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) held a draw under the Alberta Express Entry – Priority Sectors stream, inviting 96 candidates who had a full-time job offer in the healthcare sector in Alberta.
To be considered for this draw, candidates needed to meet the following requirements:
- A minimum score of 42 according to AAIP scoring criteria
- A valid work permit
- Language proficiency equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) or Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) 5 or higher
- A valid Express Entry profile that expires on April 21, 2025, or later
- A Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 300
- A full-time job offer from an employer in Alberta’s healthcare sector (with appropriate licensing to practice the occupation in the province, if required)
British Columbia
On November 26, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) held two immigration draws.
The first was a general draw across three immigration streams, issuing a total of seven invitations. The minimum score required for candidates to be considered differed depending on the stream they were invited under:

The second draw focused on the Skilled Worker and International Graduate streams, including the EEBC option. At least four candidates were invited based on their employment in an in-demand sector of the British Columbia economy.

Manitoba
On November 22, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held three immigration draws under different streams.
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream:
89 invitations were issued to candidates with a minimum score of 840 under the MPNP’s scoring system. To be considered, candidates also had to have a profile that declared a Manitoba Supporter who:- Is a close relative, a Canadian permanent resident or citizen.
- Has lived in Manitoba for at least a year.
- Skilled Worker Overseas Stream:
25 invitations were issued to candidates with a minimum score of 617. Candidates also had to have been invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative. - International Education Stream:
165 candidates were invited who met the eligibility requirements for this stream.
In total, 279 candidates were invited across these three draws, with 55 of them also holding valid Express Entry profiles.
Prince Edward Island (PEI)
On November 21, the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) held its first immigration draw in almost a month, under the Labour and Express Entry stream.
In this draw, 59 candidates were invited. To be considered, candidates needed to meet the following criteria:
- Be currently working in Prince Edward Island’s healthcare or construction sectors, or
- Be currently working in PEI’s manufacturing industry, with a work permit expiring in 2024.
Over the past 12 months, the province has issued a total of 1,113 invitations.
